Israel has launched a major ground offensive called ‘Gideon’s Chariots’ in Gaza. It is a strategy laid down by Israel, committing to free the hostages and build pressure on Hamas. The war between Israel and Palestine’s Gaza has been ongoing since 2023 when it was dragged into a fight by Palestine and the Arabs, in which it had no role.
Israel’s deal with Hamas
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has drafted a deal with Hamas. It says that Israel will release the 58 hostages of Hamas if they agree to their terms and conditions. They want Hamas to depart from Gaza and dismantle and disarm their terrorist sites. Until then, Israel will continue to retaliate against the terrorism that is affecting the innocent citizens of the respective countries.
Israel’s military forces have announced the statistics of Saturday and Sunday’s attack on Gaza. According to their statistics, dozens of Hamas terrorists have been targeted and killed, along with another 103 Palestinian citizens killed. The estimation is done primarily based on data provided by Gaza’s hospital and medical outlets.
Israel and UN disagreements
The UN is taking the side of Palestinians, talking about the torturous situation the innocent people are living in. Thus, to stop Israel from implementing its operation any further, the UN has decided to stop the aid funding to Israel for moral clarity and actions. According to them, what Israel is doing is a complete violation of International Laws.
Israel also bombed areas that were near hospitals. This led to a disruption in the medical facilities provided to the injured people. Thus, the deaths of Palestinians were reported much more than the deaths of terrorists of Hama terrorists. Israel’s goal is to get an immediate ceasefire so that they can have a deal agreement with Hamas to release their hostages. Hamas, on the other hand, has demanded that the Israeli government move out its forces from Gaza.
The UN and the rest of the world are targeting Israel for causing starvation and assaults on innocent citizens who have done nothing wrong. They are using these terms humanity, and morality to stop Israel’s mission against terrorism. They have accused the country of violating international laws while it is trying to release the hostages held by Hamas.
Israel and the US disagreements
Israel mentioned ceasing any offensive operations until US President Donald Trump comes by for a visit with the leaders. But to their surprise, Donald Trump returned to the US after completing the rest of the visits. He didn’t consulted the Israeli Leaders, which sparked speculations on his behavior and insensitivity. It also shows the disinterest and disagreements of the US in this 2-year-long war happening between the two countries.
On the other hand, the US has sidelined Israel, demanding the involvement of the country in this matter to take Gaza within itself. They claim to convert Gaza into a freedom zone where such activities will be avoided. They say that they will take care of the Gazans after the torture and ‘assault’ they have endured.
Conclusion
Israel responded that destroying more and more homes would make the citizens move out of Gaza’s territory. Thus, it would help them in destroying the terror camps and taking out their hostages. What the country is doing is responding to the group of terrorists. If they harm their country’s peace with their unethical invasion, then they have to bear its consequences.
