Israel and Iran have been found amid a war-like situation where both countries are seeking revenge for their loss. Moreover, the fight started when Israel targeted the nuclear program and military centers in Iran. To retaliate, Iran sent 100 missiles to compensate for the loss it incurred due to Israel’s move against it. Iran says that ever since their nuclear program started, there have been instances when Israel has tried to attack its center. In this strike, about 29 people were killed in Israel, which is quite few in comparison to the 865 people killed in Iran. These revengeful events have led to an escalation of the condition.

As the US bombed three nuclear bases in Iran with around 30,000 pounds of bombs, destroying the contents present, Iran has warned the US of retaliation for their strike. One of the nuclear bases was the Fordow nuclear site, where Iran had kept its uranium treasury. Moreover, as the US has taken help from the airbases of another country, Iran has warned all the countries that if they help the US or Israel in their operations, they will face severe consequences. On the target list, Pakistan has entered, which allowed the US to use its airbases for the strike.
While Iran cannot possibly do much damage to the US, it is undergoing discussions to bomb the US bases based in Iraq and other regions. However, their operation did not cause major damage to their bases and caused no fatalities during their mission.
The US’s response to the strike and the ongoing tension
The US President, Donald Trump, states that the strike on the three nuclear camps in Iran was a success. In his words, this action was necessary to maintain peace in the world, and that the nuclear bases were a threat. He also warned the Tehran citizens to evacuate the region to save themselves before their strike. All these actions flamed the Iranian Government to which responded with an extended war with Israel.
After the bombing, the US indirectly put its citizens in danger. He has announced that US citizens must take precautions wherever in the world. According to him, the traveling population of the US can be in danger after the recent activities with Israel and Iran. While the US has intervened in the Israeli and Iranian business, the majority of the citizens are against the US intervening in the Middle East war.
Other countries in the Israel-Iran War
While the tension between the three countries, the US, Iran, and Israel, has escalated, countries worldwide are opposing their decisions. China has warned Iran about the sudden shock in the global economy if the war reaches its peak point. Moreover, it has invited the world leaders to help calming down the tensions between the countries to maintain peace in the world.
Iran’s foreign minister has also arranged a meeting with their ally, Russia. In the meeting with Putin, they deliberately asked about Russia’s neutrality on this matter. To this, he responded that many Russians are present in Israel’s boundary, and involvement of any kind will put their lives at stake. On the other side, North Korea stated the US’s actions as a violation of the UN charter and has suggested that the tension is caused due to Israel’s absurd operation.
Countries like Russia, Ukraine, the EU, China, North Korea, France, and Britain have advised the two countries to back down and have a political discussion to sort this matter.
