Infogroup CEO departs less than 2 years after deal

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) ? The CEO of database firm Infogroup is leaving the company less than two years after getting the job, and the private investors who own the company want one of their own executives to replace her.

The Omaha based company said Thursday that Clare Hart is departing to “pursue new opportunities. CCMP Capital Advisors, which bought Infogroup for $460 million in 2010, said Michael Iaccarino would become the new president and CEO.

Iaccarino is a managing director at CCMP Capital and has been serving as Infogroup’s chairman since August. He’ll keep the chairman title while taking over Hart’s executive duties.

Previously, the 47-year-old Iaccarino led Internet marketing firm Epsilon from 2001 to 2009 and served as CEO of Mobile Messenger from 2009 to 2011.
