In recent years, Etsy, Uber, Airbnb, Ebay, ZocDoc, TaskRabbit, Elance/Odesk have burrowed into common parlance. With valuations over one billion, the number of startups calling themselves the Uber/AirBnB of the X industry is near Cambrian.
