Hartford Financial Services Group Inc., up 31 cents at $22.02

The insurer is leaving the annuity business to focus on its property and casualty insurance, group benefits and mutual funds.

Lions Gate Entertainment Corp., up 40 cents at $15.68

The movie studio’s shares rose ahead of the Friday release of “The Hunger Games,” which could be a huge hit for the company.

Coffee company Starbucks Coffee Co. said it will make Starbucks-branded coffee packs for the single-cup coffee brewer maker.

FSI International Inc., up 27 cents at $4.87

The maker of equipment for microelectronics fabrication posted fiscal second-quarter results that beat Wall Street expectations.

Hercules Offshore Inc., up 30 cents at $5.38

The oil services company said that it had reached a deal to buy the offshore drilling rig Ocean Columbia for $40 million in cash.
