Last week, the Harlem School of the Arts held its Fall 2013 Benefit at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Allen Room. The Leadership Award was presented to Janice Savin Williams and Christopher J. Williams of The Williams Capital Group; the Philanthropy Award went to the Ford Foundation; and the Visionary Artist Award was given to actors Laurence Fishburne and Gina Torres.

The event was hosted by WNBC’s David Ushery and music was provided by musician and composer Arturo O’Farill.
