At the Grammy Awards on Sunday night, producer Pharrell Williams not only won the coveted Producer of the Year award. He also graced the stage with R&B legends Nile Rodgers of 80’s band ‘Chic’ and Stevie Wonder in a performance that had the whole audience on their feet.
The song that set it off was Daft Punk?s “Get Lucky” featuring Williams and Rodgers. But then the tide turned to Chic?s disco anthem ?Le Freak? and then to Wonder?s “Another Star.” That was more soul than the Grammys has seen in a long time.
