Grains, livestock prices rise

CHICAGO (AP) ? Grains futures traded higher Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery jumped 22 cents to $7.6125 a bushel; December corn rose 12.25 cents to $7.2525 a bushel; December oats added 4.5 cents to $3.575 a bushel; and November soybeans gained 7.5 cents to $13.685 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle added 0.10 cent to $1.1550 a pound; October feeder cattle rose 0.38 cent to $1.3410 a pound and October lean hogs gained 1.55 cent to 88.37 cents a pound.
