CHICAGO (AP) ? Grains futures rose in early trading Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for December delivery addded 8.75 cents to $7.48 a bushel; December corn rose 6.5 cents to $7.195 a bushel; and November soybeans gained 9 cents to $13.70 a bushel. December oats were unchanged at $3.53 a bushel.
Beef and pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
October live cattle added 0.35 cent to $1.1575 a pound; October feeder cattle gained 0.88 cent to $1.3460 a pound; and October lean hogs climbed 1.63 cent to 88.45 cents a pound.
