CHICAGO (AP) ? Grains futures dropped Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for September delivery fell 3.75 cents to $6.885 a bushel; December corn slid 11 cents to $6.745 a bushel; December oats dropped 1.5 cent to $3.635 a bushel; while November soybeans tumbled 16.25 cents to $13.72 a bushel.
Beef and pork futures slid on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
October live cattle dipped 0.50 cent to $1.1490 a pound; August feeder cattle fell 0.35 cent to $1.3605 a pound; October lean hogs shed 0.10 cent to 92.47 cents a pound.
