CHICAGO (AP) ? Grains futures traded fell in early trading Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for September delivery fell 4.25 cents to $6.73 a bushel; December corn dropped 1 cent to $6.72 a bushel; December oats were unchanged at $3.63 a bushel; while November soybeans slipped 1 cent to $13.87 a bushel.
Beef and pork futures rose on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
October live cattle added 0.10 cent to $1.1550 a pound; August feeder cattle gained 0.45 cent to $1.3565 a pound; and August lean hogs rose 1.55 cent to 99.65 cents a pound.
