Schiff Nutrition International Inc., up 83 cents at $11.80

The maker of dietary supplements and nutrition bars said its third-quarter sales grew 25 percent, and it boosted its sales forecast.

FedEx Corp., down $3.32 at $92.50

The delivery company said that customers are choosing cheaper means of shipping their packages due to the state of the economy.

Discover Financial Services, up 85 cents at $32.49

First-quarter profit rose 36 percent as customers used the company’s namesake credit card more and racked up higher balances.

Convergys Corp., up $1.31 at $14.02

Japanese electronics company NEC Corp. said that it is buying Convergys Corp.’s information management business for $449 million.

Dollar General Corp., up $1.39 at $46.14

The discount store operator said that its fiscal fourth-quarter profit rose 32 percent as customers spent more at its stores.

Diamond Foods Inc., down $1.86 at $23.78

The maker of Emerald nuts and other snacks said that it is suspending its dividend payments to stockholders in a new credit agreement.

UTi Worldwide Inc., up $1.04 at $17.04

The freight logistics company said that its fourth-quarter net income fell as weak shipping volumes cut into revenue growth.

Sonic Corp., down 51 cents at $7.54

The restaurant chain’s fiscal second-quarter revenue missed analysts’ expectations and it gave a cautious 2012 sales outlook.
