Find the right talent by using this revolutionary software.
Finding the right talent for the job can be a difficult task. In fact, according to a 2012 study conducted by Randstad Holding, a leading multinational employment services provider, 59% of employers all over the world encounter problems finding the right person for the job. In addition, only three out of every five jobs were filled with employees whose skills match the requirements for the job.
To further complicate matters, the 2012 PwC Global CEO survey indicated that 29% of CEOs were unable to pursue a market opportunity due to the shortage of qualified people in key positions. Thankfully, there is a new software that can help hiring managers find the right talent.
Entelo: The Key to Finding the Right Talent
In a nutshell, Entelo is a talent search engine that can help you find the right person for the job by leveraging social data. The software was developed by Jon Bischke and John McGrath in 2011 with the lofty goal of revolutionizing the recruiting process.
How does it work?
Entelo gives users access to a database of more than 30 million candidates who are actively and passively looking for a new job. To do this, the software tracks people’s online activities and analyzes their online behavior to determine if they are thinking about changing careers or getting a new job. It then indexes these data and sorts them using more than 70 variables which are all indicative of upcoming career changes.
So, while updating your resume or profile on various social networking sites such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter may seem trivial enough to attract attention, the software takes these signs as an indication that you are thinking about moving on. It then alerts recruiters about the people who are qualified for a certain position and might be preparing to leave their jobs.
Entelo provides a wealth of information to its users. It provides links to prospective candidates’ online profiles to give users a chance to learn more about these candidates before they even reach out to them. It also allows the use of filters (job title, skill relevance, expertise, potential availability, years of experience, etc.) to help narrow down the search and identify the most relevant candidates.
Do not be surprised if you get a call from a recruiter or a hiring manager before you even expressed your intentions of looking for a new job. It may be Entelo at work.
