AMSTERDAM (AP) ? The Dutch government is forecasting economic growth of 1 percent in 2012, inflation of 2 percent and a budget deficit of 2.9 percent, according to a copy of the budget accidentally published Thursday.

The budget, due to be released Friday, was discovered on the Internet by a person who simply checked whether it would be posted on approximately the same web page as the 2011 budget.

The person posted a link to the budget on Twitter and digital copies of the 213-page document spread like wildfire across Dutch websites. The Finance Ministry confirmed the figures as accurate and called the premature publication a “really dumb mistake.”
