The Center is a 6,000-square foot space that houses the BIG accelerator program which was launched by Digitalundivided (DID) founder Kathryn Finney. Located in downtown Atlanta, BIG comes on the heels of the 2012 launch of DID, a social enterprise dedicated to the advancement of innovative Black and Latino women in tech. It identifies promising women of color in tech and connects them with mentors and investors needed to get them to the next level.

A 16-week accelerated program for high-growth companies, BIG is financed by Harriet Fund and focuses on investing in outstanding women of color founders.

In an online article, Finney is quoted as saying, ?This has never been done for black women before. First we quantified the problem with our #ProjectDiane research study, and now we?re solving it via the BIG Innovation Center!?
