Debra Lee, the chairman and CEO of BET Networks, was recently appointed to the President?s Management Advisory Board (?PMAB?). PMAB was created to advise the president and federal agency leaders about successful and innovative methods by which to manage governmental agencies. It is comprised of the most highly-respected and qualified organization leaders in the private and non-profit worlds. PMAB directly provides the president and agency heads with specific insight regarding issues such as customer service, technology and personnel development.
Lee, who earned her juris doctorate and master?s degree from Harvard, has been with BET since 1986, beginning her career there as vice president and general counsel. Her appointment to the Management Advisory Board is only the latest honor she has received in a long career full of accolades.
