On May 4, the City College Center for the Arts honored legendary actress, dancer, and choreographer Carmen de Lavallade; filmmaker Gina Prince-Bythewood; Grammy award-winnig pianist Arturo O’Farrill and American Singer-Songwriter Alexa Ray Joel at the College’s annual awards benefit. The event was held at Aaron Davis Hall on West 135th Street and Convent Avenue in New York City.
