Armed with two decades of hospitality management, Calvin J. Banks has joined Banking Hospitality International.

A former president of the Council of Hotel and Restaurant Trainers, Banks is a member of the Education and Certification Advisory Committee for the American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute, and is a member of the Department of Labor competency model panels for both the National Restaurant Association Education Foundation and the American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute.
A graduate of the University of Texas, Arlington, where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Kinesiology, Banks received his Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Phoenix.? He is a Certified Hospitality Trainer through the American Hotel and Lodging Educational Institute, a certified instructor through Development Dimensions International, and is the recipient of a Doctorate of Food Service Award from the North American Food Equipment Manufacturers Association.
