As it has done each year since 1999, TNJ celebrates Women’s History Month 2018 by honoring 25 Black women who embody excellence in their chosen careers while giving back to their community.
This year’s “25 Influential Black Women in Business” Awards Luncheon is particularly special for TNJ, as it marks both the 20th anniversary of this highly anticipated annual event, and the 25th anniversary of The Network Journal itself. The Awards Luncheon takes place on Friday, March 16, 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the New York Marriott Marquis, located at 1535 Broadway, between 45th and 46th streets, in New York City.

As always, the 2018 class of 25 Influential Black Women honorees (pictured in the slide show below) represents the numerous remarkable women who have broken through barriers in key industry sectors and continue to go the distance in battling the unique professional, personal and social challenges that Black women face. Their profiles are published in the current Spring issue of The Network Journal magazine.
Twenty years after launching this award program, TNJ remains inspired by the fortitude of these honorees and their commitment to excellence and the well being of their community. — Rosalind McLymont, Executive Editor, The Network Journal
