According to an online review, Misty Copeland ?lit up the stage of the Lyric Theater ? enough to make you wonder: Is Ms. Copeland?s home on Broadway? Here, she finally looked like a star, more fresh and free than she?s appeared in ages.?
This week, Copeland, a principal dancer at American Ballet Theater, made her Broadway debut as Ivy Smith in ?On the Town.? In the show, she replaced New York City Ballet?s Megan Fairchild.????
Set to the music of famed composer Leonard Bernstein, the show closes for good on September 6.
