SAN FRANCISCO (AP) ? Amazon.com Inc. and Hearst Corp. announced Tuesday that they’ve inked a new partnership.
Amazon said it will become the biggest third-party seller of subscriptions for Hearst’s print magazines through digital channels and will work with Hearst on electronic commerce initiatives.
The deal gives Amazon customers access to Hearst content and gives Hearst access to Amazon’s audience.
Amazon shares fell 23 cents to $219.30 in extended trading, after rising $2.97, or 1.4 percent, to $219.53 during the regular trading session.
