Alicia Keys opened up about scents while discussing her new campaign as the face of Givenchy’s Dahlia Divin fragrance with Hello magazine.
“Certain scents evoke comfort and familiarity. My grandmother’s scent was gardenia and my mother’s was white musk. Even now, they fill me with love and good memories because both my mother and my grandmother are tremendous inspirations to me,” Keys, 33, told the publication via Cover Media.
“As you grow up, those scents tend to come back to you in different ways,” added the “Girl on Fire” singer, who embodies a very put-together version of herself in the new ad for Dahlia Divin.
