The second Annual Alabama State University HBCU Conference (www.asu-hbcu.org) is March 5-7, 2012, in Montgomery, Alabama. The conference theme is “Entrepreneurship: Transforming Education, Government and Industry”. Alabama State, one of 105 Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU), is the host institution.
The goals of the conference are to enable attendees the opportunity to learn about business development, entrepreneurship, grants, contracting and fellowships, with a special focus in the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) disciplines.
Attendees will come from federal, state and local agencies, corporations, small businesses, nonprofit organizations, colleges and the public.
