African Voices’ Summer Soiree in Sag Harbor

On Friday, August 12 from 6 pm-8 pm, African Voices, the premier Black literary arts magazine, and B. Smith?s Restaurant in Sag Harbor, L.I., hosted a summer soir?e to honor the publication?s 19 years of service to the arts. The event was a fundraising reception for African Voices, a non-profit literary magazine that sponsors author readings, artistic programs for youth, the Reel Sisters Film Festival and other cultural events.
