25 Influential Black Women in Business Awards Call for Nomination

    The Network Journal is searching for 25 African-American business and professional women who have made significant contributions in their professions. Ideal candidates should be an accomplished professional or entrepreneur with a commitment to excellence and dedicated to their community. The awards are open to African-American women who are business owners, or senior executives in the public, private, or non-profit sectors.

    Winners will be featured in the March 2012 issue of The Network Journal magazine and honored at an awards luncheon ceremony in New York City in March 2012. The deadline for nominations is October 28, 2011.

    The nomination packet should include the nominee?s name, company, title, address, and phone numbers (work, cell and fax), years in business or length of employment, along with the nominator?s name, title, company, address and phone numbers. Also, briefly state why the individual deserves the award and submit supporting information (resume, bio, two references and any other pertinent material). All information provided on nominees will be kept confidential.
