Academic and nonprofit administrator Maurice A. Stinnett was named vice president of Diversity, Inclusion & Culture at BSE Global. Prior to that, he served as Diversity, Inclusion and Community Engagement at Cleveland State University. “Maurice Stinnett is a highly accomplished and innovative leader who has significant experience in advancing student success, promoting neighborhood development and advocating for a more inclusive community,” Ronald M. Berkman, president of Cleveland State University, said of Stinnett’s CSU appointment back in 2017. “Engaged learning and community involvement are key pillars of what defines CSU as a university and Dr. Stinnett will be an excellent partner in helping us advance these important goals.”
A board member at Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, Stinnett earned his bachelor of arts degree in business from Central State University, master of education and doctor of education degrees in Urban Education and Leadership from Columbia University, and multiple certifications from Georgetown University, NASEP, Office of the State Superintendent of Education and the New York Department of Education. He also earned a master of divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary.
