Never has there been a better time to get a good deal on the popular 2018 Toyota RAV4.  Since the RAV4 offers more features and reliability than many other compact SUVs, it has been tough to negotiate a discount. However, since Toyota dealerships are clearing lots in preparation for the all-new generation 2019 RAV4, you might be able to strike an end-of-year discount on Toyota’s best-selling vehicle.

The 2018 Toyota RAV4, which was the number one selling compact SUV in the U.S. in 2017, added a new beefed up Adventure model in 2018. The Adventure has more ride height, a tow package, and a rugged exterior design. While the RAV4 continued to hold it’s place atop the compact SUV class, the Adventure goes after the off-road customer. The mountain shaped insignias located on the vehicle reinforces that point. It turns the many city potholes and speed bumps into an adventure.

The 2018 RAV4 is priced higher, but offers more value than many other compact SUVs in the class. The base model RAV4 is loaded with advanced safety features, including pre-collision braking, lane departure alert with assisted steering, advanced vehicle stability, adaptive radar cruise control and more.

Exterior features on the Adventure includes 18 inch black alloy wheels, a rear spoiler, fog lights, and privacy glass.

Under the hood of the All-Wheel-Drive Adventure sits a 2.5 liter I-4 engine that generates 176 horsepower that is paired with a six speed automatic transmission with Eco and Sport modes.

The EPA rates the 2018 Adventure fuel economy at 22 city and 28 highway. MSRP for the base 2018 RAV4 LE starts at $24,660, $25,600 for the XLE, $28,400 for the Adventure, $28,890 for the SE, $31,3005 for the Limited, and $34,850 for the Platinum edition. The RAV4 Hybrid starts at $34,000.

The 2019 RAV4 will be the 5th generation of the vehicle that introduced the compact SUV class.  It will be Toyota’s most important vehicle launch for 2019 and hopes to maintain the companies  leadership in the compact SUV market.. The new model will have more power, advanced features and a redesigned interior and exterior styling. The 2019 Toyota RAV4 will have two powertrain options. Most models will come with a 2.5-liter inline four and an eight-speed automatic transmission.
