Angela Johnson Meadows joined The Packer Collegiate Institute in the role of communications specialist. Prior, she served as communications director at Manhattan Country School. Before that, she was the content director at Diversity Best Practices.
During her tenure at MCS, Johnson Meadows developed and executes strategic communications plans in support of the school’s admissions and fundraising efforts. She is also responsible for producing the school’s publications, creating content for and managing its website and social media channels, and handling internal and external communications.
Johnson Meadows is also a freelance writer, editor and content strategist who has written for The Network Journal among other publications.
A National Association of Black Journalists magazine award honoree, Johnson Meadows earned a bachelor’s degree from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University; a master’s degree from New York University in communications & media studies; and a certificate from New York University in book & magazine publishing.
