With opportunities in today’s tech economy on the rise, Amazon has announced the creation of the AWS Imagine Grant for tech-driven non-profits. A public grant opportunity open to registered 501(c) nonprofit organizations in the United States, the grant is intended for organizations that strive to solve worldwide issues.
“As part of the program, we are seeking proposals for pilot projects, proof of concepts, strategic technology planning, or existing programs that utilize technology in a new or expanded way,” Amazon reps said in a statement.
In addition to the opportunity to work with the AWS marketing team to develop a project to promote your organization, the selected organizations will also be given up to $75,000; up to $75,000 in AWS Promotional Credits; a full-day project kickoff with AWS technical experts; up to five AWS Public Training Vouchers; an opportunity for AWS marketing support.
The deadline to submit proposals is October 31, 2018.
Other kinds of grant programs Amazon offers includes grants for research and education.
